When i was 19 years old i traveled for first time abroad. Eight friends and me decided to travel to Peru to know Machu picchu. We were traveling for Chile and Perú for 21 days.
I remember that experience with a lot of nostalgy, because before we start the travel we organized a lot of meetings to plan the trip and adjust details. We started our trip at the end of January of last year. We depart from Viña del Mar on bus and we went up until Arica where we cross to Peru, to Tacna. We made a stop-over in Cuzco and after that we traveled until Aguas Calientes, the town where is Machu Picchu.
We went with limited founds so the plan was to save the most possible in things like mobilization, food and hosting services. At least until we to know Machu Picchu, after that it wouldn’t matter if we run-out of money.
We really walk a lot to get from one place to another but also we learned to know each other much better. I think that probably we became closer friends than before, and anecdotes accompany us entire life. I think that is why that were my best vacations.
