Blog 6: Postgraduate Studies

In my case i still saw far the issue of postgraduate studies, but i also know that in this times are very important to specialize more and more to aim for good jobs. Probably if i have to choose some specialization i’ll go for Cultural Studies in Latin American, or Studies about gender and feminism. I think that this courses  are very important for formation of journalists because the first give you a theoretic base to understand the world and make a work of quality as journalist. The second case i think that is important because the news categories and treatment about gender, feminism and sexuality, because the contingency of this theme.

Like i always say in my blogs, the idea of travel and know other cultures is very attractive to me so if i do postgraduates studies i think that would be a good idea to learn very well a language and then go abroad to specialize in some of categories said before. I think that probably i’ll have to learn well english before haha. But neither dismiss the idea of study here in Chile.

I think that modality that suit me more for themes of time and money would be blended system or part-time courses, because i’ll have to work for finance my studies but i also think that is important for learning process the experience face to face.

Well, to summarize i think that to continue studying is very important but my closer goal is to finish this career haha.
