At first writing blogs was a challenge because I haven’t practiced my English since English 3 haha. And this issue of learning a language is all about practice and custom. But I have to say that was interesting have to develop knowledge and organize it in English to achieve coherent texts.
I think that my writing skills have been developed with the weekly blogs and now I am more entrusted when I have to redact something in English. I no longer have to search words in translate so frequently as at first and I spend less time writing each post.
I know that there is still a lot more to learn, about vocabulary, grammar and other things but I think that all is only a matter of time and practice. And reading the blogs of my classmates was interesting because that allow me know and understand them a little more.
Outside the English class i use my english only to view series and movies, but i have to say that is easier than before understand what is saying the characters. I think that i need to practice more my interaction with other people but i think that i go step by step.
In a future maybe i would like to write articles about things that are happening in our country, that sometimes, for issues of language can’t be informed in a complete and effective way if it isn’t said in spanish. Things like social movements of students and workers from the point of a person who knows her country, its people and its culture.
